PM2.5 samples were taken by a high-volume air sampler. The samples was collected in the winter (1114) and spring (n8), the concentration, soluble-ion and trace metal were analyzed. The PM2.5 concentration in the winter was slightly higher compared to spring which was 18.71 ngnr and 16.24 pgnr. re Characteristic of ambient air pm2 5 at sub urban area during different periods in taipei spectively. For soluble-ion. the most abundant elements were found to be nss-SO/.
