UTAHNATIONAL CONSERVATION LANDSA'sflBUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT5-YEAR STRATEGY 2014-2019On March 30,2009, President Barack Obama signed the Omnibus Publ Utah_National Conservation Lands State Stepdownlic Land Management Act, which states:"In order to conserve, protect, and restore nationally significant landscapes that have outstanding cultural, ecological, and scientific values for the benefit of current and future generations, there is established in the Bureau of Land Management the National Utah_National Conservation Lands State StepdownLandscape Conservation System." [Sec. 2002 (a)] "The Secretary shall manage the system in accordance with any applicable law (including regulations) rUtah_National Conservation Lands State Stepdown
