Corel Draw R software was used to digitally construct small-scale graphic logs from the unit descriptions. Field descriptions and graphic logs served as the basis for the identification of facies and interpretat ECSE-Graduate-Program-Handbook-2020ion of depositional env ironments. East of Rowlesburg was the river-influenced inner lagoon with restricted subtidal and bayhead-delta facies. The outcrops at Finzel and LaVale are interpreted to be a part of the shall ECSE-Graduate-Program-Handbook-2020ow embayment that was strongly influenced by fluvial processes and subject to only moderate tidal energy.
