Both groups were asked to complete a pre-test before exposed to English subtitled moviesTHE USE OF SUBTITLED ENGLISH MOVIES AND ITS EFFECTS ON EFL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ SPEAKING ABILITY
and a post-test after taking part in the treatment sessions which aimed to see how many correct words per minute can they speak.
